Zeitra Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zeitra mobile and web application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Tase LLC ("Zeitra," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you are of legal age and have full authority to enter into these Terms.

Zeitra is intended for healthy adults. If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or take medication, consult a qualified healthcare provider before using Zeitra features that involve fasting, dietary changes, or exercise.

3. Medical disclaimer

Zeitra provides general nutrition, exercise, and sleep guidance. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in Zeitra. If you experience chest pain, severe dizziness, sudden weight loss, or any symptom you find concerning, stop using Zeitra and consult a qualified healthcare provider immediately.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a security or safety risk.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

5.1 Tiers

Zeitra offers Free, Pro, Premium, and Enterprise tiers. Feature availability per tier is described inside the Service and may change. We will give reasonable notice for any reduction in features available to a paid tier you have already purchased.

5.2 Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the same price for the same period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged to the payment method on file (Apple ID, Google account, or your card via Stripe).

5.3 Free trials

If you accept a free trial, your subscription will auto-convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you upgrade earlier.

5.4 Cancellation

• iOS: Cancel in your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
• Android: Cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Web: Cancel in Zeitra Settings → Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then.

5.5 Refunds

• iOS purchases: handled by Apple per their refund policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).
• Android purchases: handled by Google Play per their refund policy.
• Web purchases via Stripe: contact billing@zeitra.app within 14 days of purchase for a refund of the most recent billing period if the Service was materially defective.

5.6 Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal; if you don't accept, cancel before that renewal.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except as allowed by law
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Service content without our written permission
• Submit prompts to the AI features intended to extract our system prompts, jailbreak the model, or generate disallowed content
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes a third party's rights
• Impersonate another person
• Use the Service to provide medical advice to others as if you were a licensed provider
• Use bots, crawlers, or automation to access the Service except via our published API
• Abuse rate limits, attempt to overload our infrastructure, or attempt to access another user's data
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written agreement (Enterprise tier exception)

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for any of the above.

7. User-generated content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (meal logs, progress photos, workout notes, posts, comments). By submitting content you grant Zeitra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for your content. Don't submit content you don't have the right to share.

8. AI features

The AI coach, plan generator, and similar features use third-party large language models (currently Anthropic Claude). AI-generated content is probabilistic — it may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. Always sanity-check AI-generated nutrition or workout advice before acting on it. Consult a qualified provider for any medical question.

We do not use your prompts to train the AI provider's general models. We may use anonymized, aggregated prompt data to improve our internal rule engines and prompts.

9. Coach marketplace (Premium / Enterprise)

If you connect with a certified coach through Zeitra:

• The coach is an independent professional, not our employee.
• We are not responsible for the advice or services provided by the coach.
• All communication between you and the coach happens inside the Service for safety and abuse prevention.
• We may verify a coach's credentials but make no guarantee about their qualifications or outcomes.

10. Intellectual property

The Service (excluding your content) is owned by Tase LLC and licensed to you under these Terms. Zeitra name, logos, and trademarks are our property — you may not use them without our written permission.

11. Termination

You can delete your account any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for any breach of these Terms. On termination:

• Paid subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period unless we terminate without cause.
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days from active databases (subject to backup rotation).

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tase LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability — these limits will apply to the extent allowed by your local law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tase LLC harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your content, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country — fill in], without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Venue — fill in], and you consent to that jurisdiction.

If you live in the EEA / UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
